Community Living Test

OPTIONS provides 24/7 support for many participants. We have several community homes in the Hammond area.

OPTIONS also has a Supported Living program, where participants have their own homes with staff who assist them to be as independent as possible. Participants who live with their family members can also get support in the home.

OPTIONS provides assistance around the clock for the residents of the four community homes.
Each community home houses 6 residents. Alpha and Our House are all-female. Fortenberry and La Casa are all-male.

Supported Living

OPTIONS supports individuals in their own homes, whether that be an apartment, a place with a roommate or a home that they own.

OPTIONS ensures that they have all of the resources and services needed to be as independent as possible. In home supports may be a few hours a week or up to 24 hours a day, but OPTIONS is available to respond 24/7.

OPTIONS provides supports individuals with disabilities who live with their families.

Family Support include assistance with activities of daily living as:

These services support the family care givers enabling them to maintain their own jobs, care for their other children, and take needed breaks. Participants enjoy the opportunity to pursue interest outside of the family.
